Parliamo un pò d'arte. Per chi fosse passato nei pressi Tiberina Island recently, there have certainly thrown a wondering eye, and why "....... EEEE ???", for everyone else, there Saretti.
From October 23 and until Nov. 23, a strange room in the open air on the tip of the island lies within video projections and surround sound. This is the project of Enel Contemporanea 2009, an initiative created in 2007 to promote contemporary art, urban Roman, and raise awareness on energy issues and sustainability. This year the two locations are: MACRO former slaughterhouse in Testaccio, and indeed the Tiber Island, where this installation was created by Californian Doug Aitken. Four walls, in which visual art, architecture and direction come together to give life to a new experience: enter this room without a ceiling, and try to follow the work, but whose images are projected on the walls in different times. Result: highly refined images, sounds penetrating, speed, beauty, bewilderment. Yes because its peculiarity is the possibility of frure the work in many ways, sitting or standing still looking at the same wall or turning on themselves. If everyone enjoys it as he pleases, but certainly out of the "room" with great satisfaction.
Passateci if you can: it's free, lasts about ten minutes, and is about to end.
